Calas de Mallorca is a purpose built resort on the south-east coast of Majorca and is great resort for families, particularly those with small children. But don't you teenagers worry - there is a disco in town!

All the shops, bars and restauants are compactly built around the 'Centro Comercial' and there are two great safe play areas for children. The beach at Cala Domingos Gran is one of the nicest on the island and for those of you who enjoy walking, there is a promenade along the headland with some spectacular views out to the Mediterranean.

Situated in the municipality of Manacor it is an ideal base for visitng other resorts on the east coast of Mallorca like Porto Cristo (and the Caves of Drach), Sa Coma, Cala Millor and Cala Bona to the north of Calas de Mallorca. And to the south there are the resorts of Porto Colom, Cala d'Or, Porto Petro and the beautiful Cala Figuera.

If your are a keen golfer then the Vall d'Or golf course is only a 10 minute drive away.
